| Yup blu-ray wins hd format war for now.
it good in one way but a competative market always works out cheaper for the consumer .
in one sence its a good thing that microsoft kept the hd dvd player as a add on as if it was the main disc drive there might have been a problem.

| several people have accused microsoft of only supporting hd-dvd to prolong the format war, m$ have always said it believes the download is the future, perhaps not for a while but i could see them being correct with the new "ipod" generation coming through in a few years time, but i think a lot of people are still wanting to have their fav films and programmes in their hand so to speak.
